Several methods for augmenting the alveolar ridge in preparation for implant placement have yielded favorable results. This webinar will focus primarily on guided bone regeneration (GBR) to improve long-term clinical success with dental implants. Special attention will be given to the GBR clinical protocols and indications, biological principles, types of materials (bone grafts, membranes and barrier fixation), soft tissue management and flap release for primary closure, suturing techniques and expected outcomes.
