Webinar Description

Digital dentistry is growing rapidly among dental clinicians and laboratory technicians. While intraoral scanners provide high accuracy for short-span tooth and implant-supported restorations, research findings on the use of intra-oral scanners for full-arch restorations are mixed. A full digital workflow to achieve a passive fitting framework from an intraoral scan is still uncommon. As rates of edentulism and demand for full-arch treatment continue to grow, the procedure still requires multiple appointments and is unaffordable for many patients. The implementation of a predictable digital workflow is key for long-term clinical success and patient access and depends upon a mix of both digital and analog steps to obtain a passive-fitting framework. The goal of this lecture is to present full-arch, digital impression protocols with intraoral scanners and snap-on scan bodies to produce a predictable full-arch prosthesis in fewer steps. 1 CE Credit Hour | Free *You will receive a Verification of Course Attendance via email after you complete and pass the quiz.
