Webinar Description
Full arch rehabilitation with dental implants has become a predictable and widespread treatment modality due to advances in our understanding of biology, improved treatment protocols, and implant design. However, not all patients are candidates for the All-on-X style of treatment. Implant supported overdentures are often a predictable treatment option for these cases and have the benefit of reduced cost, improved ability for patients to perform oral hygiene, and improved esthetics in patients who require a flange for lip support. Immediate loading is an option in these cases but is not always possible and can increase risk. In this webinar, Dr. Fien will review a protocol for immediately loading mini implants to support an overdenture, simultaneously placing standard diameter implants and allowing time for optimal healing. Using mini implants in this fashion improves patient comfort following surgery and reduces appointments and chair time, as patients are more comfortable throughout the healing phase. 1 CE Credit Hour | Free *You will receive a Verification of Course Attendance via email after you complete and pass the quiz.
